Hey fellow Diablo fans!
I just stumbled upon some pretty wild news in the D4 items community. A player recently discovered an infinite damage bug that’s shaking up the meta. Apparently, by exploiting a certain interaction between skills and equipment, you can stack damage infinitely without any cooldown or diminishing returns.
From what I’ve gathered, this bug involves a specific combo of a skill that normally has a cooldown and an item that resets or interacts with the cooldown timer, allowing damage to stack endlessly in a short burst. The exact details are still being worked out, but the early videos show some crazy damage numbers.
This discovery is both exciting and frustrating. Exciting because it opens up new possibilities for theorycrafting and experimenting with builds. Frustrating because it can totally break the balance of the game if left unchecked, especially in PvP or endgame content.
Blizzard is usually quick to patch stuff like this, so I expect a hotfix soon. But until then, it might be worth trying out the bug yourself to see how powerful it is. Just keep in mind that abusing bugs can sometimes lead to bans, so be cautious.
I’m curious—has anyone here tried the bug yet? What are your thoughts? Does this remind you of any past bugs in Diablo or other ARPGs that drastically altered gameplay?
Can’t wait to hear your takes!
