State (Bundesland) field not being populated for the USA

Two questions:

1 - Is there something I am missing in the configuration file that is preventing the word "State" being used verses "Bundesland" on the profile and registration pages?

2 - What do I need to do to get the states for the USA to populate the drop-down field? It's presently showing only German states.

You only have to edit the profile field. change the name and the value list.
