Wrong date with User Import

When importing new Users from a CSV file, when there is a date field with a format of mm/dd/yyyy (e.g 01/06/2016), the import completes successfully. However, the date that shows after the import shows as 01/06/0016 instead of 01/06/2016. The date then has to be manually corrected for each user.
Also, when pulling Own Lists, when one of the fields is a date field, and you put in a requirement with the same format (e.g. > 01/02/2016), you get an error "Please use a valid date as condition for field.....)
